A life-long resident of western michigan, Dave has been a real estate practitioner for 12 years. Originally trained with an eye to the property management aspects of real estate, Dave has spent over a decade practicing the sales and brokering aspects of the business. As the managing broker of field and stream, dave oversees a diverse staff of talented and competent professionals, while brokering his own transactions.

Dave is very involved in the political arena (where he acquired his love of the zoning and site plan approval process), serving in various state and national capacities for the republican party, including a stint as a statewide officer for the bush-cheney 2004 Campaign, a delegate to the national convention in New York city in 2004, and since 2003, as the chairman of the 3rd Congressional district, which covers all of Kent, Ionia, and Barry counties. His involvement earned him recognition from his real estate practitioner peers in 2004, when he won the realtor active in politics award (R.A.P.) For the greater Grand Rapids Association of Realtors.

Dave is involved in many civic and non-profit capacities, including service as a past president of Ambucs (Grandville chapter of American Business Clubs) time as a member of the board of directors of the American Heart Association (of western michigan), Worldwide Christian Schools (an entity dedicated to school construction and funding in 3rd world countries), and Harbor House Ministries (an organization which builds and operates homes for severely mentally impaired individuals, primarily children, in the western michigan area). He is also a member of many other groups such as the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors, Michigan Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors, and the local Chamber of Commerce.

As a part of his goal to fit all pieces of a transaction under one roof, Dave is also licensed as a Title Producer and a Mortgage Broker, and has formed strategic ventures to function as a “one stop shop” in the Michigan real estate market.

Dave and his wife Amber reside in wyoming with their four children, Allyson, Ethan, Benjamin and Caden.
